Bulletin is an app for finding out what is actually happening on campus. These terms are the deal between you and Bulletin when you use it. They are short on purpose. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them and to the Privacy Policy.
Bulletin is built for the University of Florida community, and creating an account requires a UF email address. You must be at least 13 years old; the app is made for university students. Bulletin is an independent student-built project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the University of Florida.
What you post stays yours: your events, messages, photos, and profile. By posting, you give Bulletin the permission needed to run the app, which means storing your content, showing it to the people it is meant for, and moderating it. That permission ends when your content or account is deleted, except that a message you already sent may remain in the other person's copy of the conversation, and safety records are kept as the Privacy Policy describes.
You are responsible for what you post. Post only what you have the right to share.
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior on Bulletin. Do not:
Some events come from public University of Florida sources, and some are posted by students and clubs. Bulletin does not organize, host, or vouch for any event. Details can change or be wrong, and deciding to attend is your call. For official events, the source page is the authority.
You can stop using Bulletin or delete your account whenever you want. We can suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, and remove content that does, with or without notice. If an account is terminated for breaking the rules, opening a new account to get around it also breaks the rules.
Bulletin is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Bulletin and its creator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, and total liability for anything is limited to one hundred dollars. Some places do not allow some of these limits, so parts of this may not apply to you. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
If these terms change in a way that meaningfully affects you, we will update the date at the top and let you know in the app before the change takes effect.
